Launceston Murals

Vibrance recently met with the selection panel and reviewed applications for the Launceston Paterson Street East Car Park Mural Project. 

Unfortunately on this occasion your application was unsuccessful.

We received huge interest in this project with 21 applications from across the state. The selection panel were impressed with the calibre and quality of all the applications that were received. The panel included representatives from Vibrance, Launceston Central, the City of Launceston, and its Cultural Advisory Committee.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your application we appreciate the time and effort that goes into compiling material.

The successful artists were able to show experience painting large murals of significant height and had styles that the wall owners thought were suitable for the area. One of the selected artists lives in Launceston, in close proximity to the wall location. The selected artists will be announced through our social media accounts once the project is underway.
