The CARPARKtheory is well known albeit that, as a 'place' it is heavily invested in STATUSquoism . As places carparks come a set of cultural expectations that have a great deal to do with rights and and obligations. essentially they are place set aside in communities where people can come park a vehicle and leave it there until you have finished doing whatever it was you intended to do when you left your vehicle there in safety and often for a price!
